When is the Beechworth golden horseshoes festival? 

The Beechworth Golden Horseshoes official festival and parade is held annually on Easter Saturday between 9am and 4pm. The program of events promotes events held from Good Friday to Easter Monday run by local community groups.

In 2027 the Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival will be held Easter Saturday March 27th 2027.

Where is the festival held?

The Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival is held over the cross roads of Ford Street and Camp Street in Beechworth town centre.

is the festival free?

The majority of activities held during the Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festical are free to visitors, however there are some activities that have a cost associated such as the petting animal farm and face painting.

Where do I get information during the event?

Event information will be available from our community volunteers who man our festival information kiosk located on Camp Street outside the Beechworth Gold Shop and the friendly staff at the Beechworth Visitor Information Centre located at 103 Ford St, Beechworth, as well as general information on visiting Beechworth.
