Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival

Love Beechworth? Love good times? Love being part of something bigger? Then we’d love you on our volunteer team!

Every Easter Saturday between 9am and 3pm, our town comes alive with music, parades, food, history, and community spirit – and it wouldn’t happen without our incredible volunteers. From locals who’ve helped for years, to visitors and first-timers who just want to dive in, everyone has a place here.

 

Volunteers help us on the day of the festival, while you are not required to come to committee meetings you are welcome to join our committee also if you are interested.

Volunteer Agreement

In exchange for fun, festival vibes, food/drink vouchers and great community spirit, we ask that you:

  • Contribute at least 1 hour of your time

  • Follow all safety guidelines, direction and instructions of the executive committee

  • Be honest, reliable and communicative

  • Keep sustainability in mind as a festival representative

  • Be friendly and respectful to all attendees, crew, committee members, volunteers, and staff, valuing everyone regardless of background or identity.

  • agree and give permission for the Golden Horseshoes Festival Committee & its contractors to take, use & distribute photographs, in order to promote volunteering and/or the festival. 

By submitting this application, I agree to the Volunteer Agreement and declare that the information provided is true and correct. I understand that providing false information may affect my application to volunteer for the Golden Horseshoes Festival.
