Since the very early days of Beechworth, the Grand Parade has been one of the most loved traditions of our beautiful town - celebrating our vibrant community, creativity, history and, of course, a whole lot of fun!

Whether you’re a local business, school, community group, sporting club, performer, vintage vehicle owner, or simply a group of friends with a great idea, we invite you to join the parade and help bring the streets of Beechworth to life.

From dazzling floats and live music to colourful costumes and classic country charm, the Grand Parade is the heart of festival weekend — and we’d love to see you be part of it.

The Grand Parade takes place at 2pm on Easter Saturday.

 

Parade Entries

• Entry is free

• All participants must register prior to the event and agree to abide by the Parade Terms & Conditions

• Parade assembly details and timings will be provided following registration

• Safety requirements apply to all vehicles, moving floats and participants

• Terms & Conditions are in place to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of all float entrants, participants, volunteers and festival-goers

• A range of awards will be presented across multiple categories, celebrating creativity, community spirit, presentation and entertainment
